David Pupo and Patrick Leber founded Ivy League Jiu-Jitsu in 2023, bringing decades of martial arts experience and deep roots in South Dade to the academy.
A lifelong Judoka and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, David brings years of training, competition, and coaching experience to the mat. Patrick, a longtime Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu practitioner and competitor, brings a broad grappling background shaped by competition at the regional, national, and world-championship levels.
Together, they built Ivy League to provide high-quality Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and Judo in a welcoming environment for students of all ages and experience levels — a place to train hard, learn together, and keep progressing.
